Gaile in one of her chats mentioned new pets but she was not sure she could drop hints as to what type.

Slug!

It would be neat if we could dye the pets too. Beastmastery would be so much fun with a horde of rainbow coloured pets.

Default Worms!!!!!

Oh man I hope we get a little worm. You don't see it until it attacks. And it's only about 5-6 foot tall so when it attacks, it makes a little sqealing sound instead of a roar. Just to balance things out, when it burrows or unburrows, it knocks 1 enemy down, but when it hits, it's incredibly weak because let's face it, how hard can a 5 foot worm hit without a spine

I remember one preview mentioning tigers in a description of the world's atmosphere... although it didn't outright say they were going to be a pet, I would not be surprised at all if a tiger was one of the new pets.

And considering how much turtles have been showing up lately (check out the ranger armor in the latest IGN preview), they're a strong possibility as well.

Personally I would want an improved rarer version of a wolf. They shouldnt of made it so common.

Well, we already got

camel dog
flamingo orstrich
hamster tiger
slow bear
wild pig
godzilla
small black spider

Wonder what is comming...

Now that remind me, I wonder if they would add more map for ToA, and new pets in there.

I'm gonna have to go with the pet rock. It's tough, it's versatile (can roll right through any terrain), and you never have to clean up after it.

I agree, i'd like to see, a falcon, hawk, eagle, and when they're not in flight they're on your shoulder. and when they come back from a kill, or after a battle you can give then a little rat meat to eat...<just had to throw that last part in>.

as far as the rabbit could be interesting, hell look what the rabbit did in monty python and the holy grail...damn..RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY..

I'm guessing they will have baby dragons or drakes, white tigers, bangle(sp) tigers, and maybe pandas. I say this becuase I think Anet wants to stay true to the Asain culture and wildlife to give it a true feel. I would be weird to have a gorilla in a place the looks like an old 1700's Japanese village 0_o

Birds would be a cool addition though that would mean more flying enemies which would make rangers a bit more useful then we are now far as combat wise. Were useful now in are own right but when a charr comes at as when were a level 7-10 at full charge and all we have is a bow...well you remeber my fellow Rangers. Just inmage how annoyed the warriors would be when thiers a enemy that they can hit...not a pretty sight. :P
